Home care program for the Holocaust Survivors
A study in 2018 found that of the roughly 200,000 Holocaust survivors are living in Israel, about 45,000 are in poverty.
The average age of an Israeli Holocaust survivor is 87 years and by the year 2025-2030 almost all of the remaining survivors will probably have passed away.
The plan is to provide A-Z to the survivors and provide them a respectful life of what they have left to live:
- Provide Social workers services
- Retirement quarters
- Apartments for the elderly people
- Geriatric nursing centers
- Surgeries care and medical care
These services and facilities shall also include and be shared with handicapped, elderly low-income population that cannot afford themselves the cost of getting older with dignity.
The plan is to identify locations across Israel to establish the elderly 24/7/365 care centers with a total capability to accommodate, serve a total of approximately 8,000 men and women.
